The basic design for Six Oaks was prepared by award -winning landscape architect Robert C. Marvin. Mr. Marvin has been honored by Presidential Citation for his garden and landscape design. Among his most notable works are the Sibley Horticultural Center (the Butler Street Garden) at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia and the ten-year upgrade program at the Augusta National Golf Course in Augusta, Georgia.
