Tuesday, October 21st 12-6 pm - Sea Pines Community Center Health & Wellness Fair  

Come see a variety of representatives from local health care related facilities on hand to talk with you.  From a yoga instructor to physical therapists, you are sure to find something of interest at this event.  

Tuesday, October 28th 1-6 pm - Flu Shots  

Hilton Head Hospital will be providing flu shots to Sea Pines residents for a charge of $20 and free with Medicare Card.  In order to speed up the process bring a photocopy of your Medicare card and photo ID with you when you arrive for your appointment.   There will be a limited amount of shots so you will be required to register for this event ahead of time by calling 1-877-58-CARES and referencing Sea Pines Community Flu Shots. IF YOU DON’T PRE-REGISTER YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A SHOT!  

Red Cross Blood Drive November  20, 2008 1:00 - 6:00 pm

Volunteers and Donors Needed!

The American Red Cross is looking for volunteers to help staff this Fall’s Blood Drive at the Sea Pines Community Center.    If you are interested in providing assistance to the Red Cross Staff please call Audrey King at 671-6987 or Jeanne Pearse at

Tuesday October 7th 2-4 pm - DB Wolfe  

Set in exotic locales with exotic characters as well, DB Wolfe will take the reader from the Caribbean to Spain and back to Guantanamo, including scenes from Hilton Head Island and Central America. Wednesday, October 15th 2-4 pm - Carl T. Smith

A professional in the theatre, film and music industry for over 30 years Carl Smith has written 3 books.  Readers will recognize the scenery and some events from the plot of “Lowcountry Boil”, whose characters return in the sequel “Louisiana Burn”

Society of Lowcountry Magicians will be hosting a free magic show geared to children under the age of 12.

“Photojournalism - One man’s record of events 1960-1990”  

Returning to the Sea Pines Community Center Wally McNamee, a photographer with Newsweek will share the stories behind famous photos of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.
